A StudentKeys Case Study:

Eastern University, a Christian liberal arts college located in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA, was used as a test site for the StudentKeys (formerly Career Quest) program during the Fall of 1998.

325 first-year students participated in the study. The purpose of the study was to determine if using the Freshman Acclimation and Retention Program actually resulted in significant differences in:

  • Student retention rates
  • Academic performance
  • Readiness for career selection
  • Acclimation to college
